TMFC was formed in the 1960s. Members are able to fly every day provided they satisfy club rules, but the busiest time is Sunday from 10:00am to 3:00pm.The club is affiliated to the British Model Flying Association (BMFA), membership of which provides £25 million of third party insurance cover, which is a requirement of membership. Visitors are welcome to come to chat and/or fly provided they have appropriate insurance.
We fly internal combustion and electric power in fixed wings, helicopters, drones and gliders provided they weigh less than 7kg and may be subjected to a noise test.
